Vista e page file
I'm trying to move my page file to dedicated partition. I have system partition mounted on C: and swap partition mounted on C:\Swap. C: has 200 MB free, and C:\Swap has 2 GB free. When I rebooted my computer, I have seen that size of C:\Swap\pagefile.sys is about 200 MB despite of registry settings.

The page file remains at 50mb (i set it to 50mb to 50mb in the performance tab, even though the 'recommended' size is 1531mb). I have set the page file to 700MB (the max and min were already and still are set to the same size) and now the page files is severely fragmented. Have run Diskeeper lite on it several times, with no improvement. Have downloaded other defragmenters and will work on it. Thanks for all the help.

If the OS and data files are in a partition formatted for NTFS, is there a recommended format for a partition on another hard drive that is dedicated as space for the pagefile?
